Royal Doulton and Beswick produced a number of storybook figurines some of which were under licence.  Beatrix Potter figurines were under licence from F. Warne & Co. and the Winnie the Pooh figurines under licence from Walt Disney Productions and the Walt Disney Company.

Schmid produced a wide range of music boxes a number of which were based on storybook characters also under licence.  The most popular are Beatrix Potter, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Mickey Mouse, Pinocchio, Winnie the Pooh and Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang.  Schmid went out of business in 1995 which makes their products more valuable.
