MUSICAL TANKARDS AND JUGS

Musical tankards and jugs were produced by several manufacturers including Crown Devon/Fieldings and Royal Winton. These tankards and jugs have a removable music mechanism in the base that plays a tune associated with the items theme. Some have a relief mould while others have a smooth surface. Most musical tankards are six inches or less wheras the musical jugs are usually taller and are shaped like a jug with a spout.
